CHARMING FAMILY CHALET WITH SAUNA IN MÉRIBEL

This authentic chalet in Méribel Village has a rich history, having been completely rebuilt while respecting the original footprint and style. The exterior retains the charm of the original structure, featuring aged wood and stone that blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. In collaboration with the English owners, the architect designed custom furniture, crafted from the same wood as the rest of the chalet. The owners also brought in various pieces from England, creating a unique blend of influences. Local materials, such as mountain wool from the Savoyard spinning mill, are used for curtains and headboards, adding warmth and comfort. The sleeping areas promote serenity and are named after forest animals, a recurring theme throughout the chalet. There are three beautiful double bedrooms, accommodating 6 guests in comfort and tranquility after a long day on the slopes. A children's bedroom with bunk beds is perfect for kids or teens, while the elegant master bedroom provides a modern retreat for parents. The basement features a spacious multi-room, dug underground with an extension, including a large room for children with two hanging beds and two double beds. The second part of the basement serves as a cozy TV room, highlighted by a striking backlit photo of the "Fontany Forest," which creates a calming atmosphere. A nearby independent bathroom offers a sauna and whirlpool bath for relaxation. The main living area is located on the top floor, featuring an open space under a wooden framework that includes a kitchen, dining room, and living room. This layout encourages family gatherings in a bright, airy space. The living room is divided into two sections: a cozy corner with a television and fur seating, and a gathering area with large gray sofas arranged for lively discussions about the day’s skiing. Both areas are warmed by an impressive stone fireplace at the top of the stairs. The fully equipped kitchen serves as the hub for culinary adventures, with a long table for enjoying meals together. This chalet is perfect for families looking to create unforgettable memories in the French Alps, offering beautiful spaces, abundant natural light, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it an ideal alpine retreat.
