The Area
Verbier sits on a sunny, south-facing plateau at around 1,500 metres above the Val de Bagnes in Switzerland's Valais canton. The resort is the principal gateway to the Four Valleys, a sprawling linked domain connecting Verbier with Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and La Tzoumaz, crowned by the glacier summit of Mont Fort at 3,330 metres. Despite its international reputation, the village retains a traditional Valaisan character of timber and stone, framed by views toward the Grand Combin and, on clear days, Mont Blanc. The atmosphere is at once cosmopolitan and authentically alpine, drawing a discerning crowd through both the winter and the green summer season.

Getting There
Most guests arrive via Geneva Airport, roughly two hours away by road and well connected by private transfer or rail. Trains run to Le Châble in the valley below, from where a gondola or short drive climbs to the resort. Sion Airport, closer still, serves private aviation. By car, Verbier is reached from the Rhône valley motorway near Martigny.
