This villa enjoys a privileged beachfront location inside the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an. A coral reef protects the ocean waters, and swimmers may easily reach the reef. In addition, the lagoon front leads to ancient Mayan canals! Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is a Unesco World Heritage site and protects wetlands, archeological sites, numerous bird and mammal species, and endangered sea turtles. The recently constructed villa was designed by De Ytrube architects and is contemporary in style. It is nestled on five acres of lush vegetation and provides a stunning 300 feet of beach and an additional 300 feet of lagoon frontage. The lagoon leads directly to ancient Mayan canals. A double infinity-edged pool is located on the rooftop and features fiber optic lighting. Views are panoramic from the hardwood decking surrounding the pool. Living areas are open plan and include living and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen. There are four bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and a convenient guest bath. Exterior decks abound, allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living experiences. The villa is fully staffed, and rates include transfers, all meals, and snacks. The estate is sun and wind-powered with an eye toward ecological respect for its location, and a nearly silent backup generator is also available if needed. Of course, modern conveniences such as air-conditioned bedrooms, Wifi Internet, home movie projection, and Sky TV are also available to guests. Please note that this villa is located in a protected reserve and is reached via an unpaved road.
