If you’re feeling confident and the snow permits, you can even ski the last few hundred metres of off-piste directly back to the Chalet. The centrepieces of the chalet is undoubtedly the dual-aspect sitting room with a cosy open log fireplace, comfortable sofas, coffee table, and satellite TV and entertainment system. From the room you have wonderful south facing views across the adjoining valley towards the Olympic chairlift and the mountains beyond. The sitting room leads on to your dining room which has a dining table large enough to accommodate your whole party and features a small breakfast bar area where you can help yourself to teas & coffees all day long. This is serviced by the chef’s kitchen where you may see glimpses of your culinary delights being created through the galley window. Surrounding the living and dining areas is an exterior terrace that wraps around the chalet there is located; an outdoor dining area, lounge seating, a BBQ (weather permitting!), table tennis table, a darts board, table football table, an outdoor bar, jacuzzi and sauna. Each of the chalet’s six ensuite bedrooms have been recently redecorated in a fresh contemporary style that incorporates modern features and lighting, but which blend in harmoniously with the original alpine wood ceilings and beams. Four of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the striking surrounding mountains on the top floor, and you will find the other two ensuite bedrooms separately on the ground floor. The entrance area incorporates a spacious foyer with a ski room featuring boot warmers, a laundry room tucked away off the hallway, and a downstairs closet.
