For those who want to completely restore their well-being there are some well-recognised spas and thermal wellness centres approximately a 30-minute drive from the accommodation River Kolpa, whose clear waters are a summer delight, is located about a 20-minute drive from the rental; here, you can kayak, canoe or even SUP. Additionally, guests can head to Črnomelj (12-minute drive), where they can explore the lush forests of Lahinja River and also check out the unique monument Spomenik na Gričku dedicated to WWII victims. For day trips, the Kamačnik Canyon is a heaven of magical nature sounds, colours and scenic paths, located at a 45-minute drive from here and also home to the deepest spring in Slovenia. The closest international airport is in Rijeka, approximately a 1-hour 22-minute drive from Homestead Vrtin.
